The Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Consultation Model Survey

Advertisement for use for recruitment of volunteers for study reference: LRS-17/18-7527, approved by Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry and Natural and Mathematical Sciences Research Ethics Panel. This project contributes to King’s College London's role in conducting research, and teaching research methods. You are under no obligation to respond to this leaflet, however if you choose to, participation in this research is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.

We are conducting a study as part of a PhD project to understand what happens during consultations between CAM therapists and patients. We will use this knowledge to better support patients on medications for long term conditions.

We are inviting people aged 18 or older who see a CAM therapist to take part an online survey. If you agree to take part, you will be asked to complete the online survey once. Your responses will be anonymous. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes of your time. As a thank you, you will be offered the chance to win a £50 M&S voucher by entering into the prize draw.

More details about the study can be found on the information sheet with the survey here:

If you have queries about the study, please contact the researcher: Amally Ding, (email address on information sheet). The project is supervised by Dr Vivian Auyeung, Lecturer in Medicines Use, and Dr Jig Patel, Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Pharmacist in Anticoagulation, at King’s College London.
